关于不再是中国搪瓷工业协会会员单位的公示

各有关单位：

　　中国搪瓷工业协会第五届理事会成立至今已有五年，期间行业发生了很大变化，许多搪瓷企业由于企业改制、经营管理、产业调整等原因，已经退出搪瓷行业或已经不存在。其中一些企业已很久不参加协会活动，也没有交纳协会会费。根据中国搪瓷工业协会章程，2008年9月10日召开的中国搪瓷工业协会五届理事会第六次理事长工作会议讨论通过了“不再是中国搪瓷工业协会会员单位”的名单。

　　 为做好中国搪瓷工业协会第五届理事会的换届工作，中国搪瓷工业协会五届理事会第六次理事长工作会议决定，将“不再是中国搪瓷工业协会会员单位”的名单进行行业公示，公示期于2008年10月10日结束。公示期间，如企业存有异议，请及时与中国搪瓷工业协会联系反馈。有关公示的内容同时在中国搪瓷工业协会网站www.enamellers2008.com上公布。

Successful Closure of the 21st International Enamellers Congress

The 21st International Enamellers Congress authorized by the International Enamellers Institute (IEI) was successfully organized by the China Enamelware Industry Association (CEIA) from May 18th to 22nd in Shanghai of China. The assembly room was located in Shanghai Intercontinental Pudong Hotel. There are 117 foreign delegates coming from 17 countries and 118 local delegates. According to the congress procedures and contents, we arranged various activities, such as: technical exchange, exhibition during the coffee break, factory visit, and post congress tour, etc.

The congress was opened on May 19th. Mr. Zhengfa BU and Mr. Pagliuca, who are the vice minister of China National Light Industry Council and the secretary-general of the IEI respectively delivered a openning speech. Hongbao LI, chairman of the 21st International Enamellers Congress, presided the openning ceremony. All the delegates stood in silent tribute for one minute to express their deeply sorry for the people dead during the Wenchuan earthquake in Sichuan Province. Meantime, the congress cancelled all the entertainments.

May 19th and 20th are two days' technical exchange with five languages simultaneous interpretation ( English, French, German, Italian and Chinese) of 23 papers. The congress also provided the proceedings in five languages for each delegate to choose. The subjects of the papers are richful, and the viewpoints are very novel, whch have provided many meanful topics for the renovation and development of the enamel industry. Many authors believe that the development of the enamel industry lies in the anti-corrosion, zoology application, healthy and environment freindly, development and renovation in the aspects of new surface performance and heat-resistant performance. All of these will input new life-force to the porcelain enamel, which is a traditional advanced material. This is the common realization and achievement of the congress. The authors answered various questions raised by the delegates. Meantime, there were other 10 papers displayed in the poster section.

There were 10 overseas enterprises and 8 domestic enterprises participated in the exhibition during the coffee break of the congress. They showed the enamel related materials, equipments, technologies, products, and new application areas, which indicated the development trend of the worldwide enamel industry.

The papers quantity and quality of the 21st International Enamellers Congress reached a new high level compared with the previous congresses. The excellent academic atmosphere, active & serious attitudes, well planned exhibition, and the friendly communication between the delegates showed the passion, pursuit, efforts, and beautiful expectation of the worldwide enamellers.

On May 21st, the congress arranged a factory visit for all the foreign delegates. It's divided into five visit line and totally nine factories. These factories included the manufacturers of steel and chemical materials, daily used enamelware, enamelled home appliances, enamelled sanitary products, enamelled architectural panels, industrial enamel products, and so on. The designated visiting factories gave the delegates a warm welcome and exchange platform in their own style.

On May 22nd, the congress arranged One-day Hangzhou Tour for the foreign delegates. In order to show the hospitality of the Chinese people and to facilitate the communication between overseas and domestic delegates, the congress arranged various activities such as: Welcome Cocktail Party, Huangpu River Night Tour, Celebration Dinner, and Flavour Dinner. These events promoted the mutual understanding, information exchange, and friendship enhancement between the Chinese and foreign delegates, which made a foundation for the communication and cooperation between the domestic and overseas enamel industry.

The 44th IEI General Meeting was held on May 18th. The representatives of several national enamel associations presented at the meeting.

Though the time is short, the 21st International Enamellers Congress left a impressive memory for all the delegates due to its richful activities and tight rhythm. The 21st International Enamellers Congress will be definitely recorded in the developing history of the worldwide enamel industry.

Mr. Pagliuca, who is the secretary-general of the IEI, gave a high appraisal to the successful closure of the congress. Also, he expressed his sincere appreciation to the hard working and kindness of the CEIA. He hoped the achievements of the congress can be protected, popularized, and continued.

The CEIA organized the 21st International Enamellers Congress successfully, which mostly attributed to the strong help and support by the overseas and domestic enamel enterprises, the guidance and help by the IEI, and the good-fellowship of various national enamellers associations, as well as the support and help of so many authors. All the authors of the 33 congress papers received the certificate and gift for contributing their papers. There were totally 93 certificates. The congress also issued fantastic souvenir for 27 enterprises including the co-organizers, the supporters, the sponsors, and the designated visiting factories, etc.

Thanks again for the worldwide enamellers, who participated in, concerned about, gave support to, and helped with the 21st International Enamellers Congress.
